How long will it take to see and feel results?
The very first time you do the simple exercises you will see and feel a difference. Results will vary from client to client, mostly due to how often the program is performed. Once you make the commitment and do your exercises daily as recommended, you will see results faster. As you become more functional, your body will gain posture improvements and discover a new awareness. Week by week, month by month you will see and a feel a difference and your pain will be eliminated.

Why do I need to do my menu every day?
You must stimulate your body on a daily basis to see improvements. You are retraining your muscles to move properly again which will promote proper alignment and function resulting in pain relief. You will achieve results if you invest the time!

Can I just do one or two exercises instead of doing the entire menu?
It is important to do the menu once a day in the order listed. The exercises are sequenced to maximize results. After that, feel free to do any of the exercises that feel good to you anytime during the day.

Do I need to purchase expensive equipment?
The answer is no. You can use household items and furniture such as an ottoman, chair, pillow, belt, stack of books, etc. Your Therapist will tell you which items will work best for your program. If you prefer to purchase therapy equipment, you can do so at

Will my insurance cover this type of therapy?
Posture Alignment Therapy is the world leader in non-medical pain relief. Rarely is it covered under medical insurance plans. You may want to speak with your employer to see if they offer programs that could be used to cover your therapy, such as flex spending accounts.

Will I feel soreness after doing the exercises?
You may experience what we call "muscle awakening". This is not pain and it is completely normal. It should diminish the more you do the exercises and in the long run it will be well worth it.

How long will it take to complete the therapy process?
This will vary from client to client. Remember, it is a process and usually takes 8-16 visits to get a hold on the posture problem which took decades to develop and finally resulted in chronic pain. Our goal is to guide you through the process and help you achieve a healthy and active lifestyle by eliminating your pain. Many of our clients become clients for life and often schedule "maintenance" sessions 2-4 times per year even after they are pain free just to ensure they remain pain free or to enhance their sport and achieve peak performance.

Can I still see my chiropractor, massage therapist, physical therapist?
The simple answer is yes. Many clients see their local healthcare practitioners for assistance with their pain. But once you experience Pain Free Living and Posture Alignment Therapy, you may not need to. Give it a try today and let us know what you think.

Is Posture Alignment Therapy different from Pilates or Yoga?
It is definitely different and it's simple. You work one-on-one with a Therapist to ensure you receive personalized instruction to maximize results. Your exercise menu is specifically designed for you and to target the root cause of your pain.

Can I continue with my current activities?
Our goal at Pain Free Living of New England is to get you back to enjoying daily life and the activities you love as soon as possible. Physical exercise is good as long as your body is in proper alignment. Initially, you may be asked to avoid certain activities until you become more functional. Listen to your body and it will let you know when it's ready. You can then re-introduce the activities and get back to doing the things you love to do.

Cancellation Policy
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for in clinic sessions. If you cancel within this period, you will be charged for one therapy session. Please try and keep your appointment. It is critical to the success of your program.
